I fucking hate those sour ones!? What's the point in putting something on your mouth that will make wish you didn't!? It's like licking batteries when you were a kid!? Not too bothered about sweets...biscuits and cookies are my thing...chocolates, either Lindt or Flake!
Eating and drinking is very important to keep enjoying a ride!?
See you in the mo!

no worries gonzalo, yes i'll let you know. short and sweet ride today, weather was definately sweet . we got 2 bollockings, one for parking on the street where there were signs saying 'restricted parking' tho dont know exactly who is restricted and for what reason? and the other for the final descent back into hope by an elderly lady walking a dog. the knee seemed to hold up ok unless it comes up like a balloon tomorrow. we also was joined for half the ride by a lone rider who tagged along with us. only one photo from me today L to R the tag along rider andy, mick, gonzalo and kirky

Big thanks to Glynn for showing me around again, I enjoyed my first dabble into that side of the peaks, especially the run down from Narnia (no sign if any wardrobes) and the last descent into hope was a good one though shame about the moaning ramblers. Great to meet Gonzalo, another one to join the flying squad I think and Mick, both smashing chaps. A few pics to follow, Gonzalos new steed hogging the lime light. Round the back of Mam Tor, we descended off to the left behind it towards Edale, nice descent but some of the ruts were a bit slippery. From the same hill I think. RLos bike sneaking in. Mick Gonzalo having a breather (pose) before the last drop to Hope. Our guide for the morning, Glynn.

very nice photos there john. thats not me tho thats the lad who tagged along for a while yeah, i was going to say...where is the cool bandana???!!! didn't even noticed John was taking so many photos...probably concentrating on looking down to the ground and get those hills out of the way...Thanks for that photo of me posing since i will remember the first proper Peaks ride on the new rig...its on my Instagram now... Top day, weather and group of people. The last descent was the best for me by far...next time Glynn will take us to Stanage, Burbage (or whatever its called), Blacka, Lady Cannings...its a great ride.... Many thanks
