Never seen anyone go up a hill on a MTB like Russell does. Almost freakish to see. Man or machine? still not convinced.

Yes I got a subscription as a present a couple of years ago, not sure the mrs knows it but it must be on continuous direct debit or auto renew as I'm still getting it.
Only trouble is that you don't get the freebies that are some times included in the shop version. To be honest like a lot of magazines most of the stuff like maintenance, routes and even some of the product reviews are regurgitated. However the trips and some of the trail reports are good. You only realise it over a period of time I think most magazines are better as irregular buys. I used to get muscle and fitness (not flex I'm not that hard core) and at first I thought it was full. Of useful information such as work out plans, techniques, diet plans etc then I realised it was repeated every third or fourth issue but a slightly different name or endorsed by some different Greek god.

I know ...I have literally (from its release ) years of MBR...running consecutively...the only real interest month to month were the routes they published which I removed ..laminated and gave them there own regional file ...sad eh ? I always look at it on the magazine shelf to see if there is anything to catch my interest ..but gone are the days where I would religiously buy it ...same with Singletrack ...oh and Classic Rock mag too! Saving myself a fortune ...and loads of space as I refuse to bin them !

I would offer to get his autograph for you but it's £20.00 a shot .... ( I'm loving the fact that he will almost certainly read this ...but as a lurker he won't respond !) Hahaha !
