With the recent amount of riding in this bad weather, my bottom bracket bearings are shot so time for a replacement but for what?
According to mondraker I have a sram gxp
Swap like for like or get one better?
Come on people let me know your thoughts

I have just put a hope in to replace gxp easy to fit and more robust than the sram, of which I have had a few

Hope or Uberbike (you can usually get 10% off codes from the web if you search but they also sell via Ebay)...held them on my hand the other day on their shop and they look like a quality piece of kit...ceramic one is a great price when compared to others.

Manf have a look on the sites that sell stuff like stw and pinkbike. I got my hope one with gxp converter for 40 quid posted and it was hardly used.

I was quite annoyed that the CK is considerably more expensive than the Hope to start with...and then you need to pay an extra 15 quid for a conversion kit which is no more than 2 spacers!? |

Why is CK better than Hope? Rumour has it that the bearings are better but Probably isn't any better. Except on the warranty which you get 3 or 5 with CK! Only went with CK because I saved a considerable amount buying from US and it matched the headset!...and beans on toast was my little devil! |
