Here is some footage from yesterday's antics. A couple of the guys took their Go Pros with them and came up with this footage.
Someone also captured one of the best saves from a nose dive i've ever seen, so I'll post that once they upload it to the tube!

Only been there once on a very wet demo day. Had a great time. Would love to go back, it has a bit of everything. That climbs a bitch though. I remember that day! Got so many runs in that my hands were a mess. Haha The DH tracks there are great as well.

Great vid, great track to it. Nice one H. Only just spotted this.
Are the trails marked or do you need local knowledge? I feel a midweek jaunt coming up for this place.

Great video, I like Hopton but the hills a bitch of a climb!!! The peace xc trail is fully way marked and there is a little practice /qualifier run that is only about a mile long and starts right on the car park. There are no toilets or cafe there and steer clear of the little bird on the rock cafe on the way there, it's nice but the robbing barstards charged us £18 for 2 coffees and 2 cheese toasties Also found the place hard to find first time we went, as the postcode we had took us to the castle ruins in the village.

I'd have paid with a tenner and got £11 change, eh Zulu.. Still buzzing off getting free money and not having to steal it..

It was one of those cafes that thought they could charge more because the tea came out in little tea pots and they had real flowers on the table and 1940s music playing in the background. That or they charged us extra to clean the mud off the floor. The place had quite a few people in when we went, including an 80th birthday party.

Ahhh ...a retro cafe... Should have given them retro money and the equivalent of 18 shillings instead !

I hate being ripped off. In fact, me and Jay have decided we're taking a picnic instead! So, in me Osprey will be jam pieces, lashings of ginger beer and a big checked tablecloth

There's a subway in craven arms, we use this now if peckish on the way back, though a picnic does sound quaint, last time I went on a picnic it was a KFC over kiver. Can't be arsed making all the sandwiches.

Dunno about quaint...I think Gheyy would be more descriptive of us pair of berks, sat trailside munching on fairy cakes.
