Just had a local ride today with mike and took him down what is normally a nice section through hapton woods whilst it's dry. Some knob heads have been out and placed large branches at regular intervals and strategic places like entrance to jumps or the likely landing area including branches that had been stuck in the ground angles at 90 degrees aimed at the likely direction.
Along with totally destroying our ride through this section as we had to keep stopping and removing all offending objects to throw them as far away as possible it damned right dangerous.
the trail isn't marked as footpath or no bikes etc and is also regularly used by horse riders.
who should I report this to, council, forestry commission, parks and recreation, local policy any others?

John were we came out of the woods10 minutes earlier there was a deer down on the road and few cars stopped. Looked like 1 of them had winged it.

Hapton woods. We did the rooty trail,ou know the one continued into the off the Nora l route stuff with the couple of jumps that runs back alongside the river, they had placed larger branches wedged up against trees, in the landing area they had what amounts to stakes shoved in the ground facing the likely landing angle with large float stones hammered in on their sides. We probably stopped and moved a dozen branches of varying sizes. Completely spoiled it.
At the end of the ride we ends back through and did the middle section with the cut up matting etc, flying down there and about half way down there was multiple large fern branches which were I pros sidle to bypass without moving out of the way, then more branches further down.
The bastards have put a lot of time and efforts, they should get a life the sad fuckers.

I would love to see someone doing this type of shit! Besides a good beating and a few broken bones, I would leave them naked in the trails! Fucking idiots! Report to police I would say!

Oh shit that's such a shame as you don't get many around there with it being a fairly small woods. the poor bugger was probably trying to escape from all of those booby traps and ran onto the road for some safety.
