Hi I'm off up the peaks with Ian and Dave this Saturday for a steady loop probs be about 15/20 miles very slow pace lots of stops (Daves not been out for a few weeks ) and I'm still feeling battered  Plus unfit  meeting at Eccles close hope 9.30/10ish Gaz |

gaz just to let you know, last time we parked on there, a grumpy resident told us its parking only for residents. he pointed to some signs that said 'restricted parking'. which i thought was a bit vague and suspected it might be because of the school entrance. i recommend that you park further up eccles close away from the school, i didnt see any of the signs further up so cant see that anyone can be justified moaning about 'outsiders'  |

Exactley! I bet ramblers dont get bollockins from residents. Saying that its only happened to me once. Maybe it was the local misbag/neighbourhood streetguard.

Let me know firm details 9.30/10 meet up looking at being out for a fair few hours will be a plod mate no racing snakes on the hill mr G mad Daves not been out for a few weeks and I'm feeling sore hoping sarky comes but his fitness is lack at mo many way as I said be a 15/20 mile loop nothing crazy normal Roman road spud ally up hagsside down derwent back up screaming mile hags side back up beast and take it from there see how they are feeling |

 Right said it was going to be a steady sorry bit of road riding at the start up the dale road clough farm then over to Jagger's clough then on to the Roman road tried to keep it a little bit flattish with some good descents Approx 2000 ft climbing and 20 miles Gaz |

Lol not 6 hrs riding as it was set at walking pace mate only 20 miles be out for a few hours will be a fair few stops plus a tea break at the derwent just bring plenty mate if you don't eat it I will hahah |
