Right had a disaster with some tubeless rims (long story) if if I purchase the non tubeless tubeless kits and use tubeless tyres it should work is what I am thinking . or can I just use normal tyres with the kits ? need you vast experience and advise please guys you super duper lot

Don't buy their with the kit mate just ghetto tubeless them gorilla tape and two valves or cut to old tubes up for the valves cheap as chips and works done it for a few years now

The above works a treat though I'm old fashioned/lazy an use tubes still, just make sure you have a track pump or co2 cans for a quick inflate.

I've gone tubeless with normal rims and tyres on a few wheels. I used gorilla tape and the valves were from Decathlon. The worst bit for me was cleaning the old rim strip off the rims.

Gorilla tape n old valves worked well for me till I went proper UST rims

I`ve done ghetto set up with normal electrical tape and tubeless valves on non tubeless rims with non tubeless tyres with no probs at all.i fired them on with my home made ghetto compressor too.

All sorted last night used gorilla tape and tubless valves with Fat Albert tyres right pig to get tyres on . Had small amount of air leakage at first on one tyre but soon stopped and we're still rock solid this morning . I will set correct prepresssure tonight . Ordered some more tubless valves so tomorrow it's second bike time might as well go all out tubless
