Just back from Gnarly cycles who have done a cracking job of truing my (I thought) terminally egg shaped rear rim. They also did the front rim - all for 20 quid - should have been 15 per wheel but the lad who did em said 'the front was only slightly out, so I'll only charge you a fiver for that one'. Bearing in mind, a certain bike shop, very close to the start of the Follow the Dog trail had quoted me 20 quid PER WHEEL.  Safe to say, Gnarly will get my custom from now on - fair do's to em. |

Dunno but he's good - my rims are as straight as some very straight things that have just been straightened by an expert straightener.

If he is that good ...I would at least be asking if he is interested in some " private" work ....seems a shame to lose a good mechanic ..
