I'm not one for chopping and changing rubber but think I might get some winter tyres.
Currently running super tacky minion dhf and a maxxpro high roller rear

Any recommendations for the sloppy muddy rooty mess that will inevitably come with the colder wetter weather would be appreciated

Dual ply as they are for downhill
