Had a fantastic day today ...up early and out of the door ....got some brilliant pics but can't upload to photobucket and their help desk is next to fucking useless .
Nice firm trails at -4c to start with fantastic light ...wish I could share !

As for the S7 edge ..I am beginning to think you are right only about 22months to go before I go back to Apple .
The edge feature is a useless fucking gimmick that serves no real purpose other that to totally piss you off ...because it's live it limits you as to where you can actually hold the bastard thing without hitting a key that you don't want ...I have lost untold numbers of text messages and emails by holding the phone next to the " back " key until I sussed that you could switch the edge off ..
Not impressed at all ..useless piece of shit !

At least I had the pleasure of seeing my son playing in the U13 County Cup Final which Tynedale Rugby Club won today ...very well done to all the players & coaches from a proud dad ...

The trees & beyond are a former paintball site where we were going to hold a floodlit 2x mtb race as part of a full weekend of mountain bike activities a couple of years back with camping on the field ...this got shelved when the forestry harvested their trees ( out of site over the hill) ..and with it took most of the XC course... The land & buildings still belong to my family...and are being redeveloped for group(s) accomodation..    |

That might have been partly down to the trouble I was having with photo bucket at the time too... That still isn't right as although the pics are in the library ...you can't see them when you click on to the folders ..just a blank square...so you have to guess ! The secret to the ride was getting up early when the trails were still partly frozen . |

Summat sounds wrong there Hodgy - I'm guessing that's not the phone per se but the settings? I am also shit at that sort of thing though so afraid I'm not much help! I use my charging lead to download to the laptop for pics then upload onto websites through Tinypic - a bit clunky and convoluted but I'm just not clever enough to do it on my HTC M8 alone, though I know you can. Baaah, bloody modern technology! |

Nice photo's again. Didn't get to ride this weekend but did a couple of lovely walks with the OH instead and She let me decorate the dinning room  . I effing hate decorating!! Then yesterday, i took my son to refereeing so he could earn his £28 for less than 2 hours work, quickly followed by taking him to his own and very last match. I can't believe I have spent the last 12 seasons taking him to training and Sunday matches and now it's come to an end. He might still do a 5 a-side team but won't be needing me. Really sad as it feels like the end of an era but on the plus side i now have wednesday evenings and Sunday afternoon to ride or decorate! I'm taking this Friday off to spend the day with the OH. She asked me wanted I wanted to do for my Birthday on Wednesday, which wasn't bike related. So we are walking across the Stiper Stones in Shropshire. I wonder how long it will take her to realise it's on my list to ride and and this is actually a recon  |

Yeah, did the coaching/taking my sons to play football. TBH mate I was bloody glad when it ended. Coaching mid-week, taking em/coaching em Sunday afternoons.
I'd had enough by the end and some of the parents...well...eye opener to say the least.
