Good on him, and much respect!!... A genuine reason to have one!.. However I'm sure given the option he'd be an ambled person on a non-electric bike.

I didn't intend to be sarcastic or flippant, I am genuinely confused how if the guy had a serious cardiac problem he could be okay to ride an ebike, it's doesn't look like he's pootling. Even on the downs you work hard and your heart would be escalated.

I can only guess that it's not your big standard one the motor and battery will probably be modified/upgraded... And on the downs he's not actually going that fast or throwing the bike around

To be fair ...going back to the article it says that you can have a harder workout if you are constantly going for it in Turbo mode ... Obviously it can also be used as an aid to help less fit folks ...or those who have an ailment ...but as the article also says ...it all depends how you use it .
