Brilliant ride out on dry tails and the sun shone most the time apart from when it was snowing/hailing. As usual it was the company that made a great ride brilliant, thanks one and all.

Yes ...that was spot on! Great ride and I finally got to do all of the down from the top of Minch Moor ..which was fantastic ( previously only done the drop to the SUW ..as part of other rides). The Coffee in No.1 Peebles Road ...was as fantastic as Chopper said it would be and we had a right old laugh sitting at an outside table with blankets & hot water bottles on the main street. With the SDA event and a roadie event taking place it felt like there were more bikes than cars in Innerleithen today which made for a great vibe.. Dave's right though it's the company that makes a good ride great and they were all on top form today . Many thanks also to Russell for the ride there and back in his 4.8litre superbeast You don't need music in that machine ..the engine tone is enough !

The Tweed Valley is as good as it gets for the bike vibe, especially when Tweedlove is on, 2 weeks of bike events, there's a steady stream of bikes on cars from all directions too every weekend, plus the constant babble of the kids clubs on the trails, you'll know when they're around from the laughing and whooping haha, you should try the New York Bagel next time Hodgy, OMG, so many flavours on one plate, i could gorge in that place all day

....just remembered ...a big thanks also to Kev who responded to my pm with regard to routes at the Golfie ... Unfortunately I left my phone at home ..and with it the info which also meant no pics today . However if Jaco would like to forward the couple of pics he took I would make sure they saw the light of day!
