That's a shame. Looking like decent weather at this stage as supposed to be dry from Tuesday through Saturday.
I don't think I've been since our Xmas ride or any trail centre since Xmas so looking forward to it.

No need to cancel the weathers going to be good. It always is on a forum ride. It's only ever rained once when there's been a reasonable size group and never had rain on a ride glynn hasn't been on. Sorry glynn I think you may want a weather jinx.
There should be 6 or 7 of us.
Well do a roll call on Thursday to be on the safe side.

Can we have a show of yes hands please by tomorrow morning if there's no more than 4 or 5 I may suggest that we make the most of the good weather and head around Hebden/Calderdale instead which I'm sure Gonzalo will enjoy and it is a bit handier, if it helps roundie to do his morning thing and travel across to hebden we could meet at 10.30 instead.
I've tried to contact Michelle and jason but my only way of getting hold of her is via a strava comment which she may not see.

All that stuff makes us stronger. Or that's what I tell myself. I take it you can't make it glynn? Maybe as well or that weather may change, I've worked out you may be a weather jinx lol. Three most pissed through forum meets I've been on last year and you were the only person on them all.

If I do it will be by design because I'm over heating after chasing you and Gaz up the hills.

Obviously not always dry, if it doesn't rain I may find a river.
Seriously when you want to try a different route around there let me know, I know some good stuff which is referred to as Limers gate that can be linked in but it needs to practically be a drought for a few weeks before it's good for riding.

LOL...that bloody bridge...i wish someone had told me...oh wait! you did....
For everyone's benefit, i was coming down a bit too hot, caught some loose gravel, my skills ran away, front wheel off, bang...hit my head on the floor....the Cratoni helmet works fine...so glad i was wearing it! At one point i thought i was going over the bridge! LOL a few bits hurt here and there and I'm fine...and most important, so is the bike!?
Hebden Bridge is a bit like climb city!? I can imagine that doing it in the wet must be horrible.

Is that after the long descent when you got the sharp corner ? i believe so...Gaz did warn me in advance...i just didn't expect it so soon...and a mix of too much speed, loose gravel, over-inflated front tyre and lack of skills, tough me a lesson. That previous descent is really cool...really fast and when you hit those bumps well and get some air, you feel like a million dollars!?

Blimey only 2.0hr 58 for that ride, that's shifting, no wonder you've got so many PB's, and no wonder I was close to bonking trying (failing) to keep up you goats on the ups. No swim this time although it would have been a bit more welcome today to cool down. I got quite a few bps myself but of course on the downs not too many of the ups. In top 10 on some in and amongst the team riders from the bike shops and local enduro heroes. Got home and took my daughters for a ride, I walked, for a few miles followed by a couple of hours weeding and cutting back hedges. Properly knackered now I feel shaky and the ned to consume large volumes of food. www.strava.com/activities/568281223/segments/13779891600

The first time there was a perfect combo of not much wind and nice and dry and I couldn't make the most of it, set of well and had my best run until just after the last speed bump/jump landed a bit heavy, my next big pedal stroke out of the saddle and I shot forward as the chain either slipped off or was already off, nuts into the head set all my weight on the front wheel I did I kind of high speed unintentional endo down the hill with my balls on the top tube, didn't want to brake to hard or it may have ended worse, finally managed to stop. Chain back on but by this time I was nursing sore balls (resulting stomach ache) and had caught my ankle up in the crank. There ending what would have been a KOM for sure.
The worst thing being that I was up and running again and didn't manage to see Gs attempt to copy Danny Macaskills trick of front flipping over a fence. Unfortunately it sound like he got it wrong by using his head to hit the fence instead of the bike. I expect to see you wearing elbow pads at Hellavyn Gonzalo. I've only worn mine and a handful of rides but they have saved me some major pain on three of them, Stiniog and last week on one of the easier parts of the snowdon descent where like you I hot a corner way too hot, resided I had no chance of changing direction enough to find a bridge I needed so skidded and used my elbow as a ground anchor.
