These things have been around longer than you have lol Loool! All the bikes in my garage were still repping the cable ties. Its not something ive really paid attention to. I had a couple of these clips on my Maxim so i thought it would be a good idea to get them back on this bike Apologies for my useless post!

Rattle most off my bike so use cable ties.
Incidentally, shimano have a new XT range coming out, with Di2 so less cables!

I had said clips on my Alpine, because they never secured the hose correctly, and with it being a single pivot, the bottom most cable guide wore away, with movement of the hose, leaving a sharp burr, this eventually burst through my brake hose. Being as though the bike was only 10 months old.. I sent it to Orange.. Who after a couple of weeks in communications... Decided the easiest option, would be to give me a new front triangle... Otherwise they'd have to grind of the guides, re-weld, re-heat treat, and restart and decal my front triangle. They advised fitting cable ties, and acknowledged the I'll fitting clips... Something they did say they'd look into...
