just picked this up from aldi for £39.99. i know you can buy cheaper from cheapo chinese sellers, but i'd expect this to be reasonable quality coming from aldi. 3 year warrenty, any probs and i'll just pop back down the road................night ride anyone??  |

But at least you have somewhere to take it back to ..
See you in Sidwood at 9.00pm...that gives you plenty of time to get here and it won't be proper dark until then ..haha

i agree hodgy, all of them are made in the far east, but some of them are better quality than others, protected circuitry, batteries and chargers and stuff. some are downright dangerous and cant be trusted. buying direct from china means that safety standards can be by-passed. and thanks for the offer but i was thinking somewhere more local  . i havnt been on a nightride for ages, dont think i did one all last year. |

Perfect timing,this Wednesday should be the first of roughly 13 weeks were we don't need lights on our regular Wednesday night ride,riding 7 til 9ish

you'll have to do a midnight ride gaz. a few of us did one a few years ago on the longest day. started about 8pm finished just after midnight. i also did one a couple of years ago, starting at 3am to catch the sunrise on mam tor for 4am. i had just finished my nightshifts tho so was still in that sleep patern.

I'm in the same boat ...we used to go out religiously every Wednesday ...despite whatever the weather could throw at us ..I reckon we have all gone soft ..
I'm a big big fan of some of the more " expensive " Chinese lights ...I have a fantastic set ..Sanguan S-N2200 which kick out 2200 lumens ( claimed ) and put my more expensive Exposure Enduro Maxx in the shade (720 lumens) ..but together night becomes day ...
Bloody lightweight anyway ...and I thought you were a serious biker ..what's a couple of hundred miles between friends ...?
By the way ...how many lumens ?

Used to love night rides and we (Cannock Chapter) keep saying we are doing one soon - still not managed it yet - be too light soon the way we are faffing about. Only got the cheapo Chinese ones - haven't died in a fireball yet. Plenty bright enough and if you read the feedback on what you are buying, they have sold plenty and none of the feedback says ..'Aiyeeeee! it burns! it burns!'.... you are probably ok.  |

it keeps going off now its fully charged.like its a faulty pcb or loose/dry connection.i havnt decided yet whether im having a refund or exchange.
