recon they're worth a punt? im looking for a mate who has around a grand to spend(who after researching himself online) has his heart set on a calibre boss nut. he's reluctant to buy mail order so im kinda trying to twist his arm.

Dont buy is solely based on the spec list, the frame might ride like crap.
For about a grand, a Boardman FS would surely be worth a punt, they get loads of good reviews and usually have a pretty hefty discount on?

I'd personally not bother, but that selfishly based on the fact it's a 26"... I just couldn't bring myself to throw my leg over a 26" any more. |

There really are some cracking deals on 26" bikes... Look out for frames that will accept 650b wheels... And do a conversion!
