Will this improve Halfords in store and ruin Tredz reputation?

An Wheelies as well, someone obviously felt a bit flush at Halfords!

Provided that Halfrauds keep the companies separate and don't try to use their name in it I can't see it being a problem, basically just use themselves to help finance the other companies!

Also found Tredz to be very good...but to be fair Halfords are not bad as well...returned a grease gun the other day and spoke to the manager to see if I could get a grease tube replacement as well, and he didn't even object...their 3for2 on car products is also good!

If you don't have to rely on the staff, Halfords do what they do well and relatively cheaply. I buy stuff from there all the time from car bits and bobs to camping gear, even bought a bike from them once (in the box to assemble my self I might add). however any interaction with the staff at my local two branches have been a disaster and so has a lot of others. But as the old saying goes 'when you pay peanuts, you get monkeys' is spot on in this case, with the odd decent member of staff/store seem to be popping up now and again. Most likely just bought tredz to increase their market share (Halfords was the largest bike retailer in the uk again)and increase their buying power and lower their prices even further. Cant see tredz changing in any way but maybe a bit of 'specialist' bike knowledge will get passed over to Halfords.
