Would you say pacestar for the nobby nic rear , and then Trailstar for front Magic mary ? i got trailstar on my magic mary front on cube and grips like chewing gum on a hairy dog . going to order both tires today .  |

Yep - deffo. Pacestar for the Nobby, the slightly harder compound therefore faster, Trailstar for the MM, sticky as feck.

sorry for the late reply. We are currently facing a very high number of e-mail-requestst for what the answer might take a little longer than normal.
I spoke to Maxxis and also forwarded your Video.
They informed me that this is within the tolerances of a new tire and can be rooted down to the storage or the tire. The wobble will go away while riding as the rubber will then move into its proper form, when the rubber is churned.
Therefore, please ride the tire and keep an eye on it.

I've ordered new tires now and should be with me by weekend , got Nobby nic pacestar snakeskin rear and Magic Mary snakeskin trailstar for the front ( thanks to pez for giving me the pointer on the Nobby nic I Should in theory go faster now ). Don't like the high rollers on the back anyway and front seemed dodgy on what I'm used too with the magic Mary being on the front of the cube stereo . All for less than £60 ( for 2 tires) and I topped stock of 32oz stans fluid for £16 along with a SRAM garmin mount for the Garmin 1000 . New renthal carbon riser 40mm bars arrived yesterday from ubyk . Great guys from there as my bars was late coming ( 10 days) and for an apology they sent me some rechargable light pack worth around £35 .
Can't wait to get out at the weekend now as fitness should be better due to doing around 60 miles a week average with road bike and gym for last 3 weeks .
Thinking of getting a new helmet next lol

I will just use them as spare Adam pal it's not a big deal really as I did get a pair of £120 pedals off them for free ( there mistake for putting them in my box lol ) They Also sent me 2nd mech hanger that originally ordered and received that today . So all good and can't wait to put these new tires on . |
