Afternoon all,
I'm off to bike park Wales, Afan & Cwmcarn this weekend.
Just wondering if anyone has any tips for riding BPW? Routes to avoid or must rides? I've never ridden a bike park before so I've quite excited.
Cheers Lee

Andrew Watson and Ergaz are well versed in such trail... full face helmet, and if your not confident roll over it... would be my advice...

Send everything big! ! And end up in a sling like me
You can roll pretty much all of it mate
My favourite run is sixta pod into locomotion great fun at speed,
Try terrys belly as your first run, it's an easy blue
Do it with out stopping for a nice warm up to start your day off

Hot Stepper, I really can't recommend this trail enough, it's an absolute riot! www.pinkbike.com/video/446697/Warm up on Sixtapod and then work your way down, Vicious Valley into Bonneyvile next. All incredible fun, all features on the blacks (minus drops) are rollable tbh. Every Red and Black section has a qualifier at the start, if you can't do that, you won't survive the rest of the trail.

What he said, Hot Stepper is absolutely brilliant...... can honestly say it's one of the most fun and rewarding man made trails I've ever ridden. Everything is doable though so just go ride them all

I'm booked there in July. I'll have to give hotstepper a go, don't think it was there last time I went. Gonna take the t-130 and try it out as it's still only had one ride on it :-(

You're right, hot stepper was fantastic! We had a great time at BPW, some great runs. Here's my fav pic from the weekend taken from the drop at the start of Dye Hard...
