Just seen this on Pinkbike.

Not massively surprised as although mountain biking is popular there is absolutely no way there was enough of a market to have 2 National series and ultimately one was going to fail. The other series is run by the people from the BDS so quite an established group.
Hope nobody here was entered and I hope everyone who has been entered gets their money back
