just built a mega and fitted an xt crankset. tightened everything but pedals must have been slightly loose. drive side come undone and in process stripped out threads to the point pedal slots straight in and out. i know it can be helicoiled but dont know what size to drill it and tap it and what size helicoil to buy/fit into a standard 9/16 pedal hole.
ive not got the kit gotta buy. will it be easier to get the lbs to do this cheers guys. btand new chainset soi prefer to fix first.
