Anyone ridden it ? I'm scoping a ride for later in the "summer" and have done a bit of research on the Geograph website . While I have done it's brother & sister in the general area ( Gatesgarth & Nan Bield )...I have never ridden this one. I'm thinking from the Kentmere side heading in the direction of Troutbeck ..stiff climb but a longer descent as part of a loop starting at Ings. Any comments welcomed ...

I don't have much to add by way of route suggestion but will try my best to tag on to the ride.

I've done it a couple of times now, the climb up from Troutbeck has been sanatised a few the years back, still a long climb but not a technical as it once was. The decent down into Kentmere is one of my favorites, and one of the most technical ones I've ridden (rather than walked) down, worth doing the ride just for the decent. Best ridden by climbing up from troutbeck and descending to Kentmere, then add the Green Quarter in for a bit extra couple of links to the route I did www.strava.com/activities/389911664www.strava.com/activities/425187391deffo be interested in joining you for this one

agree with gaz. kentmere is the much better descent. garburn is a long steady climb but all ridable especially on a brand spanking new bike.
