My KS LEV is a similar trigger to yours - I've often thought how much better it would be with a paddle type trigger under the bar like on my reverb. SOUTHPAW

The southpaw is a good one for cable operated, the specialized srl is good espevis一ly of yoh have guide brakes.
I think the one you linked to g is more about changing the cable from hydraulic to cable actuated on a reverb. Why you would want to do this I don't know, a bleed is a lot easier than pissing about cutting and routing cables when it go pear shaped.

SOUTHPAWDefo, under the bars like a gear lever is the best place for it to be. That KS lever looks nice and almost half the price. It would be perfect if you could match it with the Shimano I-spec. Well...the Thomson had to go back and the awesome people at Evans accepted that this issue should have not happened and will replace it with the new Fox Transfer...which you can buy with two different levers...problem solved. Can't wait to get it now. went with the 150mm, extra 25mm drop

Well...what can I say?!? Lol... But the fact itself that Thomson promise a two year, free-maintenance, problem-free seatpost and mine after a few months developed a lot of play, is what got me a new one. I know what the issue is and Im pretty sure the solution/repair is quite simple, but the trust is now lost! Reverb...never!

Did you get the Kash coating? Looks the bollocks. Nice smooth post, lever is a bit fiddly/flimsy though. LOL...me with my matching OCD...what do you think? Had to be done...LOL I've read good things about that post and the lever is supposed to be good too. I just don't understand how Fox missed the trick about allowing it to match with the Shimano or SRAM levers??? bad decision there!? enduro-mtb.com/en/fox-transfer-dropper-post-review-new-king/The guys from Kingdom are now selling the 9Point8 dropper which is supposed to be awesome too but i couldn't get a refund, only an exchange.

Yeah, the matchmaker thing bugged me too. I preferred the 2x lever. Good choice chap. The 9.8 is supposed to be good. Could you fit a 170? Yeah, what a missed opportunity to get a design to be spot on?! I want a lever under the bars since i think its a lot safer on the rough bits. Not sure i could fit a 170 but i would not like to go over 150 to be honest...125 was enough but that extra inch is a nice to have.
