well i was looking forward to it but was disapointed again with the coverage. you'd think there was only interest in the front two. no coverage of any of the other forty seven riders. only after schurter had crossed the line did it show any falls, mechanicals, battles further down the field. the fight for bronze looked entertaining from the bits of them i saw.................having said that ,their fitness and pace was phenominal.

Yeah coverage wasn't great.
Sagan was unfortunate with the mechanicals he had - felt slightly deprived of a showdown but Shurter and the other guy were class.
Some nasty tumbles on the rock garden.
Liked the clip at the end with the guy trying to ride with the most buckled wheel ever.

Also felt sorry for the guy who went OTB in the feed station when the other rider turned across him and left his back wheel sticking out.
