I was at Gisburn last Sunday and saw so many people riding without helmets I was stunned! I cannot believe some people think it's safe to ride on trails like gisburn with no protection on there most important part of there body.

That is funny to watch but it could have been so different if he didn't have a lid on!
A few lads at work ride without helmets and are always on asking if they can come riding with me.. I just tell 'em no!
I refuse to ride with people who don't wear helmets because there is no way I'm landing myself with the responsibility that would come from them smashing their head in!

I've seen people over stile cop without a helmet on and those plastic crocs things on their feet!!! Admittedly it was late on a sunny Saturday afternoon and they, to their own admission had "been in the pub all day and thought it was a good idea". I didn't hear the air ambulance as I was heading home so l believe they didn't get into any trouble |

Never used to wear one, got nagged to death off the wife to wear one so I did just to shut her up!
Wouldn't go out without one now.
