went out with gonzalo and his mate today, on some secret trails in familiar places. not a loop with milage but a sessioning ride. something i never, ever do. wow! today i felt like a beginner again. frank is a very good rider, relaxed, skillful, humble. it was a pleasure to watch him ride the jumps and drops that are just beyond my comfort zone.

gonzalo,, i know frank wanted to keep its location a secret, but did you get a photo of the 'interesting feature'. you know, the one with a vertical chute into a gulley with an almost as steep uphill run out and the 2ft diameter tree trunk across inviting you to smash your face into it.  |
