Hope photo works but I have managed to scratch paint off the down tube by not tightening the roof clamp properly although it had a cloth around it. Proper gutted as a bit OCD about this sort of thing. Any ideas? Thinking I will touch up with black paint so less obvious ?

some bling stickers mate , dont paint it unless its a good job . it looks anodized so paint will show up and perhaps make a mess of it . bikes get scratched all the time on trails its inevitable.

My bikes matt black and seems to get marked quite easy. My hubby uses matt black spray paint. He sprays it on rubs it back, sprays it again ect just on the scratched/scuffed areas. He sort of builds it up I guess, but after he's finished you can't tell where it was marked in the first place. I've had some big scratches on it to. .

Yeah you could try some paint, just use some very fine grit sand paper after to flat it back.

Jimbo - as has been said - stickers (Be careful what you pick as it can look cack - I personally wouldn't do this, not a fan of stickers) or experiment with black paint somewhere not visible on the bike. When you've achieved what you want via rubbing back - go for it on the offending area.

In all seriousness black carbon effect frame protection would look well, I've used some on my Parwood

Excellent, ordered and thank you. Is it easy to apply, obviously ensure it is spotless clean but do i need to use a hairdryer as I have heard this recommended?

It's character! I had a similar issue with my bike on the rack but it wasn't my frame paint, it was my Pike stanchion
