So, I am still not running tubeless I know don't take the piss. There are 2 reasons why, couldn't be bothered (2 punctures in 2 years) and worried I would cock it up as I'm not very handy. Anyway, when I was loading up my new small rucksack I realised how heavy an inner tube was and don't want to carry it. Now unfortunately my wheels are not tubeless ready (effing joke on a £2500 bike) but my tyres are. So I am looking for wheel recommendations 27.5. Don't want to spend a fortune really so may wait for the sales. That said do you tubeless guys still carry a spare tube? If you do is it worth spending £200-£400 to go tubeless? Lots of questions, cheers

Don't have enough knowledge to recommend a new wheel set up ..but with regard to carrying a tube on a tubeless set up ..yes I still do .. To be honest I can re-inflate my tyres with a mini pump from flat ..so I don't really know why I carry it ..but the day I don't ..I will probably need it .

what wheels are they? You should be able to convert them with valves and tape.

Tubeless is great on many aspects. Still carry a tube even though I never needed one...also in case anyone else does. If you get some Hope Pro 4 hubs, on either Hope, Mavic or Stans rims, you will have wheels for life. I've always been told that th Mavic rims are very easy to setup tubeless.

I don't take a tube around Cannock - only at places like Degla, BPW where there are sharp rocks.

Yeh I took one to BPW and left it in the car for safety why boyher bother with new wheels unless you need them , I use gorilla tape works great just make sure rims are clean n dry and put tape on nice and snugg . got Tubless tyres on the wheels now but it also works with none Tubless cheep way of doing it get wheels when you really need the,
