Yes Gaz..most of us who have been on the forum for a while are aware of the fact . I don't think despite constant cajoling that any of us will change his mind ..the bloke has a busy family life with 3 kids in the background and shift patterns at work his wife also in full time employment ..and genuinely seems to dislike driving . BUT and it's a big but..he does love riding his bike ...the fact that he finds the time to do it at all amazes me. In his shoes having constantly stated his preference for riding local trails I would probably also get to the stage where I got totally pissed off with folks trying to change my mind ...seems that he has now reached that point.

We all work full time and Pezo has a lot more free days than most of us

Most of the descents we did today, I had done them with you before...and the climbs too...except even more of them...and riding from and back home today was also not a great idea...on top of yesterday's ride! I'm in pain! Lol

phew! really felt todays ride.partly because theres some stiff climbing, partly because we were sometimes also battling against the wind, and also because yet again i didnt eat enough during the ride. why do i always do that? also punctured coming down burbage edge. tried to make the tubeless solution fill the hole and seal it up........nope! tried to repair the hole with the tubeless repair kit. well it seemed to repair the main hole but it was still leaking air between the rim and the bead, couldnt tell if it was another hole in the tyre or the rim that had taken a 'dink'. think i'll put in a tube...............REEESULT! anyway thanks for the company kirky, hope you enjoyed my local trails. a bit of trials riding on burbage edge nice viewpoint, dont step back kirky on stanage steps and again.

Great ride today, thanks again to Glynn for showing me around, a pleasure as always. Really enjoyed the drops, a bit squeaky bum at times, didn't enjoy the climbs especially the one up through Blacka and the climb after the nice long varied descent through the woods. The wind was a killer at the start a bit of an unpleasant surprise. Made it a little more daunting going down those steps for the fist time with the wind pushing you sideways. I got a little more climbing according to strava Glynn but shows shorter ride as it normally does. www.strava.com/activities/727902867/segments/17858327565A few snaps from the phone, all from one place. I can't remember the name of the edge, not got a memory for names. A nice view waiting for Glynn to come into view over the rise. A good singletrack climb due to some technicality to make things interesting. Glynn approaching. Closer. Then buggering off into the distance forgetting I don't know the way. Lol. Bye then.
