 When I came back to the car park after today's ride I met these chaps and their haibikes. There was 3 of them all aged 71-76 years old. I was chatting briefly to one guy aged 74 who was telling me it was his second Ebike in 4 years and would not be riding if it was not for the e-bikes. They had just done a 40km+ run today!!!!!! I hope I can still get out the house when I am that age. They were terribly posh. One was putting his bike on the back of his Porsche panamera.  |

Brian who rides regular with our club on a Sunday has just turned 80. No ebike for him ,he rides an Orange 5

Biking and lifting heavy weights , good going for an 80 year old. I will probably spend most of my time being ill. Picked up a new Orange 5 yesterday...not heavy at all! Massive improvement from Orange by the looks of it, not only in the new type of aluminium but also shaping of the tubes...good to see. Like it or not, their simple design and single pivot, works and suits UK conditions, no doubt! Good thing they don't do a Ti version!? Lol |
