dont know if this is a forum issue or at my end. but if i try to get on to the forum from my iphone i get inundated with unwanted sites......telling me iv won this that and 't other. i cant actually get onto the forum because of it. it doesnt do it on the laptop. anyone else having same thing?
no problem accessing any other sites BTW.

Check your pop up setting on your phone.... Settings/Safari and scroll down to Block Pop-Ups, make sure this in enabled

I get a similar issue on my android phone - tried clearing history etc. but still seems to do it occasionally.

yep checked pop-up blocker, it was already enabled. i think somethings infiltrated the forum.

Just checked on my phone and I also got the pop-ups. Not sure if something has infiltrated the forum though, it's more than likely some advertising thing that ProBoards have implemented. I don't get it on my iPad though

I get it occasionally, sadly as it's a free forum there will be ads. Annoyingly I have no control over what ads are there. A company pays ProBoards to advertise on the forum, how they do it is up to them. Like Euan said, I'd look at enabling a pop up blockers/app stores for AdBlockers/use Tapatalk. All annoying when all you want to do is browse a forum :/

Thanks mate ate just a did a very very slow plod my fitness has gone to shit this last 6/8 months massive amount of weight on  Back on the old diet after comfort eating my self silly..... |

Very annoying!!!! |

That was one advantage of Tapatalk - no pop ups or that bloody annoying shoe gel insert advert!
Since the forum URL changed I can't get it on Tapatalk.
