Still getting rid of the tale end of my Lurgy, bloody three weeks off the bike, not sure of my fitness so headed for Gisburn Forest for a short ride, test my fitness and the new steed. the bike faired a bit better than me, still coughing up phlegm every few seconds and it feels like my legs have gone. Although I took it relatively steady whilst I got used to it and fiddled with the shock and forks the bike felt great, really nimble and after some fettling the shock felt nice and plush, maybe at the excess of some bob so may need to fine tune it a little more. Was all good just felt the 32t a little as I've been an oval for a while. I had a new oval chainring on standby that I've fitted since I've got back, works okay with the chain guide as well. The car park was the busiest I've ever seen it, especially for a Tuesday morning, however there must have been an high percentage of walkers and families sticking to the blues so the trails were stil nice and quiet and I only came across 7/8 groups and only held up by a couple of them. Forgot to take any pictures during the ride which was a shame there was a nice view with a low hanging mist but I was trying to keep pedaling and not let the sweat turn cold on my chest. just took a teaser when I got back to the car. Ps. It reminded me G that you should try and get there soon whilst it's dry, that way you can do a decent cheeky and actually see the trail for a change as much of its often hidden under standing water.

Maybe!
I'm going to off to get over there at night soon, if I get home around 10 though I'm kind of wired until the early hours not being able to know off. as of next week I suppose a late afternoon ride will result in a dark ride.
I might head back early on Sunday morning whilst it's still dry if you fancy it.

Cool steed. Shock...you need to adjust the compression settings so it doesn't have much bob on small bumps or while you pedal, but I'm sure you know that...good luck!? lol I'm doing Gisburn next month...ill let you know.

Ordered from zee germans sunday deapatched tuesday would have been delivered Thursday but I postponed the delivery until Monday.
It was set up bang on and all in perfect order. Good array of extras. Tools. Spares manuals etc. More than I've got from my lbs bought bikes to be fair.
