Myself and windy are having a morning blast around Gisburn tomorrow morning if anybody wants to join us.
Meeting 9.15 at the hub car park for 9.30 start. Not that early considering the clocks are going back.
Should be a lap of the circuit with hope line thrown in.
Cmon Roundie get yourself over!

I would love to however I must be home for 1pm to 1.30 to absolute latest look after the kiddies whilst rachel heads for work. I would need to leave Sheffield by 11sm so not worth 3.5 4 hours driving for one and half hours riding.
Also interested to ride the new steed on a track I've done before to make a good comparison/assessment.

Yeh I wouldnt Mind trying there, but don't fancy massive gap jumps. Rather keep my wheels on the ground, don't mind drops and natural type jumps but not crazy kickers.
Have fun tomorrow.

you dont have to go full on if you dont want to john. theres plenty of other stuff, more of a xc type ride but with some techy natural stuff included. im hoping to go next week if it stays dry. its not a big place but you still know about it with it being steep, or you could always do an extra loop. iv not been for 2 years so gonzalo might know some bits that iv not done.

Oh that's good to know I thought I would be following a load of budding Steve peats around those parts .
By the way Glynn I've just been fettling with some tyres and couldn't find my tyres levers anywhere, last time I saw them was when you punctured near hathersage. You didn't happen to put them into your bag by mistake with your tool wrap and snap on tool locker, kitchen sink etc?

Mate, I'm no gap jumper! But there are some nice places where you can either roll or take off...but not the dangerous kind. There is a nice section Called craggs which is rocky/slabby and cool...there are a few steep sections (one of them is 8-10 foot almost vertical but you can roll which is cool) berms, lots of roots, etc...not sure I agree with Glynn...it looks to me like you can ride there for days...so many runs everywhere, which is why it's important to go with someone in the know...you can defo have a good time and workout because you have some good techy climbs besides fire roads.
