Is that how it is on the day Jimbo? all the fast lads just barging past people? the one twat actually knocked someone off he was trying to pass in an unpassable spot. Think I'd end up with bike rage if that's how it is.

It's not like that, I didn't get any issues but you will get people trying to get past you but mainly very relaxed and friendly. You do get some on the longer route trying to get ahead of the queue near the beginning as they will miss the cut off but i didn't have any issues. That said on every decent you will always get someone flying past you. I nearly got hit by some twat bombing down the rocky section and was going to have words with him at the bottom to realise it was my mate who was out of control!

On another note I'm glad the rider recording things had his hands on the bars the whole time with all that grunting groaning and panting going on ... The missus who couldn't see the screen actually said " what the hell are you watching!"

Wowi have done that so many times on my lappy at mabie forest coming down descender bender, with mine if i come off its going to break bones . the humpy bits just catch you out when there is 2 or 3 in a row going at speed and your feet leave the pedals when you get a little air . i know whats going through this guys mind its such a rush though when you pull it off.. and its not skill as i haven't any . its just instinct .. so many times i just think fuck me how the fuck didnt i fall off .

What actually went wrong there? Which one. The first one I can't work out. Maybe a lack of concentration but my guess stretching his hands or fingers off the bars as it was just after a 10 min descent and my hands were killing me by there! |

Great video lucky lad to save it looks an epic ride Jimbo , how long was it 52k and I took 5 hrs 22 mins and climbed nearly 4000 feet. Great day but the terrain takes it toll on you and the bike. Looking forward to a smoother ride this weekend. |
