Hi, anyone replaced a bearings on this particular headset that is not a cane creek bearings?

Are you wanting to put a non Cane Creak bearing into a Cane Creak cup?

I'm surprised that you have managed to go through 3 x Cane Creek 40 bearings, they have a good reputation, i'm still on my original ones on the Commencal, you're not over tightning them are you?
Wouldnt bother with Superstar Headset bearings, last one I had didnt even last a ride before it fell apart

I did it the opposite way, I had a cane creek headset lying around so I pinched the bearing for my fsa headset, zero issues, just used the bearing but original seal from the fsa which was still ok, as long as it fits it'll be fine

Both looked after the same time

I've used these for wheel bearings. mbbearings.co.ukFound then to be very good up to now.
