They don't look that good in all the marketing pre release stuff we've got. I'll reserve my judgment until I've seen them in the flesh.

Shame it's a Halfords thing really.. TBF Halfords have some decent bikes, it's just some of the gimps who build them and repair them that do the Halfords brand no favours at all. |

My bike was off the road one day and had a loan of my farther in laws bike. It was only a very basic valour model (I think) but was well suprised with it.
Not abad bike at all.
Halfords really do need to train there staff a bit better when it comes to the bikes, from what I've read, sometimes they are just dangerous after they have been assembled.

The thing is, the damage is done!
They have a reputation for crappy workmanship and I think that'll stay with them now.. No matter how good their bikes are!

Nice, i can honestly say i haven't had one problem with my local halfords in terms of workmanship, maybe its because i know the chap that works there, he was in my school year many years ago and still stay in touch.

Same here, we have 2 halfords in lincoln and one is terrible and is honest about it, went to buy my road bike from the closest one to me and the sales guy admitted his guys were shit and told me to buy it from the one the other side of lincoln, they put that bike together perfectly, gave it a decent free service and it has been perfect for 2 years
