had my first day back on the bike since busting my left shoulder 13 weeks ago and then injuring my right shoulder 7 weeks ago in a freak incident while watching a dh race and bloody `ell was it hard work.i was doing my local 10 mile ish xc route and I don`t mind admitting that I struggled,my legs wouldn`t work,my lungs wouldn`t work but to make it worse the fairies had been in my wardrobe and shrunk the waistband on my mtb shorts I`m having secong thoughts about packing the downhill shizzle in,at least when I`m pushing everyone`s pushing
couple of crappy fone pics. stopped at the side of this maggot danglers pond to put a bit of air in the back tyre.

this is the top of a steady mile and a quarter climb,it`s a long long time since I failed on this but I did today

the start of nice off camber bit of single track, quite fast in the dry but the roots are treacherous when they`re greasy as they were this morning.

Nice one Paul. I wouldn't be too hard on yourself with that climb, it's not the easiest to take on at the best of times, never mind after a long time off
