well, the time has come to try these bad boys out. used them for a short 2 mile commute to work this morning and tried a short test run when they come but will get in around 12 miles tonight in the dark. i found them easier than expected to clip out of. was harder to locate the cleet and clip in tbh. report to follow. hopefully no xrays lol.

It will be second nature in no time. Just don't look down trying to locate the cleat. I did that once then my mate rode in front of me causing me to crash it to him just as I got locked in! Ended up up trying to ride my bike while lying on the floor

all went well but i did fall sideways when i forgot i was clipped in. lol was right infront of my mate to. i did the local xc loop with a few smallish 4 feet drops and a set of steps down to the canal we normally throw in. all in all happy. ill get used to them im sure. might go to canock chase tomorow afternoon to try some singletrack in them. bonus is we went for a pint on way home.

yeah, love it. litterally only changed a few bits. flats for spds. grips to excells. post to dropper. saddle to flux but also still use the ragley post and saddle if not using the dropper . when i bought it wasnt sure but best investment ive made. dont miss a bouncer at all. swapped the forks for the standard sektors for £150 and bought the foxes for £140 so well happy. got a brand new crankset coming with a 28/40 instead of 26/36 set up. should be here tomorow. thats it then. rear tyre is about 50-70% worn so when its ready ill fit nobby niks trailstar but stuill keep them tubeless as best upgrade you can make on a bike imo.
