looking at there pedals and like the look of the delta with free upgrade to Ti axles . but then i dont like the plain pins and then thats another £10 for 40 pins . then there is the mags but with no Ti upgrade as out of stock and i think gold will be too much on the bike . thinking of going Red with black or gold pins . £65 with gold pins . www.superstarcomponents.com/en/delta-pedals.htm#reviewswww.superstarcomponents.com/en/delta-pedal-spare-pins.htmgot my Renthal duo stem today and looks and feels amazing and a lot let flex in the bars now . but some XT trail spd pedals but will need to practice using them on hardtail first .

I got the Dreadnoughts if you remember - great looking pedals but almost zero grip with the blunt pins they came with. Can't say anything about the others but don't get the Dreadnoughts.

I have some Nano Tech ones, good pedal but the pins could do with being a bit sharper, I will be attending to mine soon with a file.

I have some Nano Tech ones too. I think they're really good value for money and great pedals!

I have some Nano Tech ones, good pedal but the pins could do with being a bit sharper, I will be attending to mine soon with a file. Nano Tech here too, seemed like great value compared to the competition. I like them, feet stay well planted and they grip well enough to pull round after the downstroke. I just wear an old pair of skater shoes with flat, grooved soles. But sharper pins I do not need, that's what the scars on my legs say anyway! I don't think it has anything to do with feet slipping off pedals for no reason, I just fall off too much, and sometime have trouble getting started again when beaten by a rutty or techy section, but I am still learning Also I find it a bit awkward moving feet about to find the exact right position after a re-mount. I have to consider SPD's to save the blood injury I cause to my lower legs but I don't really like the idea. For now I just make sure my tetanus is up to date, and use anti-bacterial wipes when I need to

I've had two pairs of Nano Tech now and they were superb. I now have the Delta (Ti). They are not quite as grippy as the nano tech, but i've never slipped off and they are light. Problem is that they are now going back as something is wrong with one of them after 4 months. Any coincidence the Deltas are now in clearance and Delta EVO's are the new pedal? If replaced, i'll get the Delta EVO Mag (Ti). 260g and matt black. Better for weight and stealth Yea but there is no Ti upgrade as its greyed out on there and the detla evo has no Ti either. for the price i might go for the normal delta that you have with free Ti upgrade and get some extra pins .

I too have Nano Techs and love them.
I waited a while because they were always sold out which tells you how popular they are.

Have you looked at the Moove pedals? I can't imagine them being less grippy than the nano techs as they look the same!
Also you may get the colour combo you want without paying extra. I really like the Mooves I've got.
