It's the slow uphill techy stuff that will catch you out .. When you need a dab .. But forget you are clipped in !

Keep at it , it becomes 2nd nature , I can't get my feet off flats now as I instinctively try and twist my feet to unclip, doesn't work with flats !

Leave them on the weakest setting, I always have and I can get out of them almost as quick as flats.

I only times I fell off when I was clipped in, was when I forgot to unclip when I got to the bottom of the trails lol

Fell over in my kitchen one time. Just installed the pedals, sat on the bike to get a feel for them, all was going well until I went to make my foot off..
Pulled my foot off to the side and I remained stuck, down I went like a sack of potatoes. Spent about 20mins laying there laughing at myself.

Give yourself time.
I would love to be able to use them but just can't getaway with being clipped in.

well 16 miles tonight clipped in mostly on cycleways and a bit of local xc. 1 % on roads with no incident so happy. loostened the clips right down again. couldnt tell a massive difference but i guess in the mind it tells you its easier to clip out.

You wouldn't get me falling off while clipped in out side a busy pub with Motozulu and Iridaabike especially forgetting I was clipped in and just falling sideways almost going into the canal infront of a busy pub with afternoon drinkers all outside .No not me never
