OMG snake bite puncture.they need to confirm it by looking to see if the inner tube has the 2 tell tale slits opposite each other  hope that's not Sherwood pines! |

And to think the most dangerous thing we have to deal with is nettles Not here.. We have that thing's baby brother... The adder! The funniest thing I ever did see though was on a night ride ... riding close to the North Tyne on a track that was a little bit naughty ..we were trying to be as quiet as possible approaching a gate next to a house when I heard a tremendous clatter behind me to see a heron bounce off Dave Taskers helmet .. we had obviously blinded the poor thing as it was roosting in the tree ...Dave took a serious wobble and all thoughts of being quiet went out of the window as we were in bits with laughter! |

Ha Ha superb! we do have adders on the chase tbf but so far I've only seen a grass snake - though I'm normally gripping on for dear life with tunnel vision so have probably passed hundreds  |
