Love the matt black frames they do now

MCFC... When buying a DH frame, does sizing work the same as with other bikes?
How do you know what size DH bike you need?
What I mean is, all my bikes are medium frames (17"-18").. Does that mean a medium DH frame will be good or should I go smaller/larger?

Entirely up to you and depends on what you feel comfortable on, a lot of DH bikes are adjustable, one frame could fit a whole variety of sized riders, i ride large/xtra large trail frames and im the same in DH, i would say if its imposible to try a frame go up a size but thats just me. such variety in stem length / stack, head angles, adjustable chainstays etc

I'm hoping to build a Nukeproof Scalp or Pulse and as I currently have a Nukeproof, I'm tempted just to get the same size!
Just wanted an opinion.. Thanks

I've also been wondering about the sizing of downhill bikes. Think my next purchase will be a nukeproof pulse, and the nukeproof size guide recommends a small for my height/inside leg measurement but it just doesn't seem right to me. Guess it would be best to get a sit on one if I can. CRC have a 2013 pulse in stock in small for £2200 which is seriously tempting me Very nice supreme by the way

Super loose and dusty day at Forest of Dean yesterday, got loads of runs in, since building this bike has done hammers, bpw, cwmcarn, wharncliffe, greno and fod without missing a beat but by mid afternoon it was so dry and the bike was getting such a hammering that all 4 stem to crown bolts were so loose the bars were almost off and the rear calliper bolts were barely in, full strip and rebuild and grease/loctite session over the weekend if I can get chance DUSTY DIRT

Absolutely have a look into the Commencal's, even more so now as they now have a direct sales business model like Canyon which makes their bikes fantastic value and the new Supreme DH Park looks awesome www.commencal-store.co.uk/PBSCCatalog.asp?ActionID=67174912&PBCATID=2353593&PBCATName=2015

Wouldn't mind a V4 Race but they are all sold out in black unless you go frame only option Quite like the yellow, there only available in S and XL, the black won't be sold out for long I don't think, will get more built up if they are offering frame only stuff. Think they are learning and not making so many at once, there outlet still has loads of 2yr old models for cheap
