I see they have released the hero 4 today. It's probably not much use to anyone though without upgrading your PC and TV. Also uploads to YouTube will still be average quality too. What does look interesting is this www.bikeradar.comA 99 quid GoPro. Seems ideal for what most people need |

Perfect, silver looks good if you (like me) want to use it as an actual video camera for family holidays etc as it has the screen.
As you mentioned the black is pointless for anyone other than pro film makers, most laptops and pc's won't be able to handle the high quality file sizes

£99 for a Go Pro, i will be going down to my bank tomorrow to put in my birthday money and some will soon be spunked on this!

I might consider the cheap Go-Pro now that I ride in groups more often! Can't see me ever needing anything more than a basic camera that will record decent quality video.. As for the squeaky chesty mount... I always found a bit of insulation tape under the mount helped  |

Pass mate, it just doesnt move at all, I have noticed that some of the other mounts are fairly loose, I think it's just a hit or miss if you get a tight mount or not |

It was that much of an issue that Go pro bought out a mod to cure it - didn't work though.

I gota chesty mount but mine is not official its just one i picked up on amazon for about £9 and its great , i get no noise and rattling . |

£99 is a steal. They'll corner the market if the polaroid one is pish. Dunno about 4k, my PC can't play 1080 content :/ you can borrow my pc if you like , its damn overkill for what i do with it with occasional gaming . i7-3970X X79 mobo overclocked to 4.6ghz (only clocks at this when gaming) , 16gb 2133mhz ram , 2x512gb SSD and 4TB storage . GTX690 and a Asus 2560x1440p monitor overclocked to 85hz . i recently bought the Black+ edtion with touch screen for £299 from jejames . had to buy spare battery as doing 1440p stuff kills the battery in about an hour and as i always pause record i thought battery would last long but it don't it just flattens the battery on pause just as quick . I have now reverted to just 1080p wide 50fps but the card im using maybe to slow . (lexar 64gb 300x) |

Made my mind up, i'm getting one!
The BikeRadar site and that say they're released on October the 5th? So, does that mean they'll be shipped then aswell or are they a pre-order for a release later this year?
Anyone know when they're likely be out to order, 12:00am, Mid-day e.t.c? Think i'm going to order mine from the GoPro site! Only wondering as i suspect these £99 versions might sell out pretty quickly!

I'll wait till Xmas and see what the deal is, see if the 3's with wifi come down in price, if not I'll get the basic 4, I heard 5th but not sure why they are released on a Sunday, I imagine Monday they will be getting processed and shipped
