Is this going to be a pure Mountain Bike forum like the name suggests? Saying that, MTBE had a whole area devoted to the Roadies?
Just wondering what other sub forums are going to be included???

I think It would be good to have a "darkside" section as I enjoy a brimble on both surfaces, sometimes need advice regarding road cycling. Plus Gives people somewhere to brag about our Strava Results right ? Right guys

I'd be happy with a road section but only ever manage KOM on MTB where no one else goes

I occasionally checked it out. Since building up my Fixie and getting into road riding on that, it has proved somewhat helpful! However it is a MTB forum so....

Glad it got set up so soon though, MTBE was just getting worse and worse as time went by! Im sure, in a few weeks, this will be as popular as MTBE and be moderated and set up much better!

I'd accept an roadie section, but they must leave their Lycra at the front door, and never! Never! Talk about obnoxious Strava!...

Can we have a hybrid section too? I've just bought a Boardman Hybrid Sport to commute on. Thanks to "trade price" sales to staff, I only paid 260 quid for it. I'm gonna put my DMR stem and Fatbars on it.

Roadie section would be a bad idea. Let roadies go and Lycra another forum.

I suppose we could group all roadies, hybrids, Urbans, etc into "not a manly bike section"

Not manly? I've got 32mm tyres don't you know. None of those girly 23s.

Yup, a 'everything gurly road related commuter' forum to capture all the nerdy hits may have its uses.
Take Ness for example...

"A 'everything...'"? You can't use two vowels together when using an indefinite article, you bleddy peasant. It should be "AN 'everything...'". Whatever is the world coming to.

He's right you know I'm happy to not have a road biking section but if everyone desires it, go for it - although I won't frequent it! You could always name it the 'fanny bikers' sub forum in honour of my mate. When we were travelling to paint-balling on Sunday morning bright and early, there were 6 roadies in 3 rows of two taking up this country road, refusing to acknowledge our presence - my mate rolled down the window and shouted "move you fanny bikers!!"* haha * I don't condone this behaviour but I did laugh
