When out today I stumbled across one up by Lunton hill and I'm sure I seen tracks going in to the wooded area near five lane ends last time I was up that part of the forest but couldn't see it today but may of been looking in the wrong place.
Question is this? Are these dotted about all over The forest and where can I find out about them. I've been looking on the net but not had a great deal of luck.

Pretty much all my trails i ride are 'secret' off piste stuff!
I got shown round by a local, and since then, i've gone out and found new stuff. Came upon a nice jump run today, which is now my favorite trail!
Just get in the forest and look around, maybe have a quick Youtube search... Part of MTBing is getting out there and exploring

So do you just go off in to the wooded areas then?

Yeah, I've found that if there's public access to a forest, either a Bridleway or Footpath, then there's going to be something good in there.
Just take a map and a mobile and go explore!

Loads of off piste at hamsterley, go down every unmarked trail you see. Most the off piste is better than the official stuff, IMO.

We do the same down here in Cannock-of a weekend as you say it's ideal, I can normally manage 20+ miles of cheekies without out seeing a marked trail. More fun too.
