... For XT brakes. Superstar any good for example? Also organic or sintered? For general trail riding through the Autumn/winter in all weathers. Cheers

Sintered will last longer over the winter ..but are more expensive . You mentioned Superstar...I can't vouch for this particular brand as I have never tried them ..however they are currently advertising a four pack of sintered pads for £22.99....plus a 45 day guarantee that if you don't like them for whatever reason you can send them back for a full refund ..which seems fair enough !

I've always used Superstar pads and can't see me changing anytime soon. Bought kevlar to begin with but they lasted less than 3hrs at Cannock (sand, grit etc) I stick with sintered now and can't fault them.. (I'd like to point out that the only Superstar product I buy or have ever bought are brake pads)

Just bought a new set of pads for myself, went with Hope ones, 2 reasons: first being their brakes have been tested with their own pads and secondly I don't think there's any 3rd party that makes E4 pads yet..

I used UberBike but one of them completely fell apart (braking pad from metal back plate). I put this down to a one off, as the other 3 sets performed fine and have lasted a very long time...
I need to order myself some sintered pads so think i'll stick with Uberbike!
