A couple of little updates I got some of that tape that Mr Cogger was talking about and taped up both my chainstays. Really happy with how easy it is to go on and it feels nice and secure and looks much tidier that an old innertube. the other change is the charger damper conversion to the Boxxer fork, so now it's a Team fork instead of an RC. It makes the fork feel so much plusher and now when you change the rebound and compression settings you can actually feel the difference

How much does the charger damper upgrade cost, if you don't mind me asking?

How much does the charger damper upgrade cost, if you don't mind me asking? It can cost anything between £220 and £290 depending on where you shop mate. I got a great deal on it from Singletrack bikes as thats where I got my bike from. Just to add, it was a piece of piss to fit!

Nice upgrade on the fork Euan. I've spent the last two weeks looking at dual crown forks for the scalp and its starting to do my head in deciding on which one to go for. I do like the 2015 boxxers but I just think there'll be too much black on the bike lol. Having said that the boxxer teams are probably the best bang for buck fork out there. Though I'm still swaying towards the 2015 marzocchi 380 c2r2 but they're at least a hundred quid more

I know Just put a set of DMR V12 2015 pedals on the bike to replace the Saints, they are slightly smaller than the Vaults but sturdy as fook, it looks like they use a stronger axle I always rated my v12 pedals seemed more grippy than any other pedal I had .. They seem a tad smaller than my vaults so seem to fit my feet better ..

You've got me thinking, I can get the 2015 RC boxxers from bike discount.de for 464 to get me going. Then do the charger upgrade at a later date hmmmm

The V12's are good, built like a tank although I do prefer the pins on the Vaults Cheers mate, you can never have too much black! Yeah, I didn't even know about the TI one until after I bought this one.
You'll buy another one one day. I just want to get out on mines, every time i've booked an uplift it's been cancelled due to weather, thankfully the it's getting milder now

So what's the benefit of 7spd? Genuinely curious.. people rarely use the top 3 cogs. saves weight AND means u can shorten the chain probs some other benefits too.

So what's the benefit of 7spd? Genuinely curious.. Less shifting to get to the gear you want, nothing more than that, I dont use many gears when doing DH
