Why don't you just download ViewRanger for free and buy the relevant o.s Landranger map which has the added advantage of showing your current position .. GPS on your phone for very little money

Here what you are saying ..I use both now ... The Viewranger app has been invaluable in terms of re-enforcing where we are when we think we have gone astray as with one click it shows our exact position . I don't leave it on all the time just carry my phone and check when needed .
