well it turned up wednesday lunch time, got home from work for lunch and the van arrived so unloaded the bike. she's none the wiser well the cube is awsom, so much for clown bike, the only clown is me for not getting one before i got the canyon, as i love it so much more confidence on it, it just goes were you point it, and no sqwerming of front of saddle to climb steep bits, it just goes up as well as it goes down, 34 front forks are better to not so much flex will do a long run tomorrow and see if i beat my times on ups as well as downs i have modded it a bit changed to 2 x10 xt and one indestrys 42 tooth rear expander, allso fatbars and 50mm stem a reverb and xt brakes and 203 front disk

Nice bike Rich. The early 29ers looked like clown bike but the newer ones look in proportion - I'm still not covinced but that opinion is based lagely on ignorance

Very nice that! Surely the wife will notice you have a new bike, the bright green is a bit of a give away and them mahosive wheels. Is that why you've parked it by that tractor?

well after the weekends rides, i have to say the cube gives me more confidence on the drops, went off two that i normaly bottle, no problems cant understand why it feels so much better, as the geometry is same as the canyon and wheel base is not much diferent, but its so much better to ride will sell the canyon and rr 6.5 and get another 29 later.

Very nice mate. I'd hazard a guess it's your forks - I went from weedy 32's to the 34 Pikes and the difference was well - different Gives me loads more confidence to tackle stuff without a bit of poo coming out now. Good luck with the Mrs when she finally notices your bike has grown neon green bits!

welcome to the cube gang rich , i too have a stereo they are lovely machines arnt they pal . so fast and surprisingly agile for 29ers . it must be the geometry . And i totally agree with the 34 forks mate its chalk and cheese over 32'a any day .
