It certainly looks a tad lighter than one you had.

Right then,i've completely emptied my camelbak and it still weighs more than your lot did even when yours were still loaded up,maybe i've got the lead lined nuclear version and because you took the piss out if me for having a silva compass in me bag it's not going back in. It doesn't need to go in anyway cos there's a compass built into my emegency whistle

Swapping that bag of tools for a more modern (swear word to old folk, I know) multitool will probably save you 3.5 tonne.

I carry a multi tool ya knobber,i' ve just ditched a few extra hex keys i was carrying along with 3 sets of brake pads(non of which are for the hopes on the bandit) spoke key, metal tyre levers (in case the plastic ones break) and a short length of spare chain. Losing that bit of weight won't exactly have me riding kneck and kneck with you skinny trail whippets on the climbs.

TOP TIP: Can't carry enough tools, food, drink, spares etc in your Camelback. Throw it away and get a ladies handbag. They look stylish slung on your bars and swallow more than a black hole.
Second thought, ignore that tip. It's crap.
Whatever you need will still be at home in the other one. At least if it's anything like my wife's.

Good vid - and I'm embarrassed to admit that I take 99% of that out with me at Cannock! ( would have been 100% but I don't do energy gels)
